hey guys! i don't know how many of you have read the book series by cristopher paolini "the inheritance cycle"? otherwise known as eragon? this roleplay is based on that, except that i've changed it so that we can all be dragon riders. please don't complain about what we can or cannot do, i know riders and dragons are supposed to have almost disappeared, but this is a COMPLETELY different story line. anyway, you basically just make up a human (or elf if you really want to) character and start out with a dragon egg. and we'll go from there.

dragon egg: a deep black egg with no markings. although it does glitter in the sunlight.

hair: black and it is dip-dyed ( look it up on google or youtube) so the last two inches of her hair is purple.
hair is straight but voluminous and goes down to end of chest.
her skin has a light glow and she is more on the paler side.
a few freckles dot on her cheeks and nose.
her teeth are super white and straight.
wears: a purple short sleeve top, black leather jacket, black skinny jeans. ( she is NOT goth and she does not wear this outfit all the time. i will tell you when she changes) also converse.
nails: pink and black ( marble nails)
toenails: pink
attitude: caring, funny, nice, sweet, outgoing, can be a little bossy, she can also be very hyper or the opposite (droopy)
dragon egg: a pure white, at night it has this glow coming off of it. there are also a few light blue dots but they are so small you can barely see them..

*i smile as the egg vibrates slightly*
((okay, so basically a rider is a person who a dragon chooses to be their companion. they bond to you before they hatch, and will only hatch for you. sometimes they wait years to find the right person. when you touch a dragon hatchling for the first time, it will leave a mark, a silvery circle, that marks you as a rider, and you will be able to use magic. i'll tell more about that when it's needed.))

What are you doing with the egg? I say quietly showing no emotion at all. I relax. Oh, then, I know. I pull out my egg swiftly. Well, if we both have eggs, we best stick together. I run out into the woods, there has to be something.... i say not looking back. By the way, I'm Rocky. And you must be...... Adurna? I say running faster. I see two horses. Our ride I mumble. I pin down the care takers with ninja stars and hop on the white stallion. I'll call you... Stardust. I murmur. We hop on and ride off into the woods.

OKAY she is not wearing that outfit anymore and my character is very serious and bothered easily but can be loosened up by some ppl)) i see some horses coming up on the field. i tuck my egg in my shirt and run over to the closest tree. i climb up swiftly and eye the riders. i see they noticed me. i pull out my dagger (her weapon) and aim in at them. i jump down the tree and am relived to see fellow humans. "why hello there," i say softly. "who might you be?"

I look up at her. It's-no-time-for-an-affair! I say between gasps. I trip on a root and fall. Adurna keeps looking Hijohdr and I frown. I change back and lie there waiting to be found I try to get up and retreat but I sense an intruder. I look at Hijodhr and sigh heavily. This ones gonna take a long time to forget, I sigh.
P.S: Can we not have, um, Romance? It leaves people out.... >_>

*my heart swells with joy as i watch the little bundle lick itself clean. it spreads its little wings, huge against its tiny frame, and looks up at me*
"the moment of truth, huh, little one?"
*i stretch a hand out and hesitantly touch the little black dragon's head. immediately a flash of pain overwhelms me, and i try to cry out, but i can't breathe. for several moments i struggle with the agony. finally it fades, and i'm left gasping. i glance at my hand. a silvery mark glows from my palm. i smile breathlessly as i feel the little dragon's consciousness brush my mind*

i feel the egg twitch and hear it squeak. "come on," i say. it slowly breaks open. a little dragon creeps out of the egg and looks around. "hello," i whisper. he looks at me, then cocks his head. "I'm alleyen, little one…" i slowly stroke it's back as it twitches. i feel a cold shock. it goes through me, coursing through my veins. the coolness passes through me until i let out a cold breath. there is a shining sparkling mark on the outside of my hand growing up my arm. a smile creeps over my face. "i am officially a rider!" -alleyen

*Suddenly my hand is tingling with sick cold chills. I try to pull away but my hand it frozen. Slowly the ice grows up my arm. I look down at my egg shaking abruptly. Cracks begin to shatter beneath the ice on the icy shell of the egg.*
"Oh crud no."
*The ice hits my shoulder and with a big smash shatters. I rub my shoulder and arm quickly after. I look down to see a little icy dragon crawling around on the ground. It almost looks like it's covered in ice. I look up as they must have heard me. I grab the dragon safely and fumble away.*

I walk outside and see Hijohdr. Oh Artemis, I mutter something in Greek. I stare at him. Who are you? I say softly. I rarely talk no one's ever understood me, I'd been an outcast put in forever isolation. I was surprised I was even with people who weren't my enemy's. I felt a small pang and stood there, motionless. I guess they thought I was an outcast... Like everyone else did, I turned away to retreat inside.

*I tumble my dragon getting knocked off me. I reach out in horror as he falls toward the ground. He smashes into the dirt his back leg bleeding a icy blue cold blood. I touch the blood dazed. All my anger builds up, my heart pounding. I let out almost a growl.*
"What have you done!!!!!!"
*I whip around and kick her off me with both feet. I scoop up my little dragon trying not to injure it more. I ignore the pain in my frosted arm, stumbling away angrily. I glance at my dragon time to time, to make sure it's okay.*

I stare at them run away in horror and disbelief.
My leg crammed into an avalanche while my dragon tried frantically to let me go.
My life flashed through my eyes.
So this was it, my dying day.

i sigh. "just a nearby meadow." her dragon crawls over and licks her cuts and bruises. i smile. my dragon joins it. "okay, okay," i say. "its okay.." i go in the forest and gather up fruits to make medicine. i hurry back and mush them up. "sooo, what happened?" i ask. -alleyen
